Five years on our workmanship, in writing
- Five years on our workmanship
- 30 days to change your mind
- Every project from one wall to a whole home
A guarantee is only as good as the work behind it. Here is exactly what ours covers, what it does not, and how to use it.

What does the five-year guarantee cover?
Our workmanship, for five years from the day we finish: if a finish we laid peels, cracks, bubbles, or lets go because of how we did the work, we come back and make it right. It does not cover the house settling, abuse, or other damage, and it does not pass to a new owner if the home is sold.
What it does not cover
No finish can hold a house still or survive every accident, so the guarantee covers what our work causes, and nothing beyond it.
-
The house settling or moving
Cracks that follow the house itself as it settles or shifts, rather than anything we did.
-
Abuse
Harm a finish was never meant to take: a hard blow, an abrasive pad, or a harsh cleaner.
-
Other damage
Water from a leak or a flood, fire, or work someone else does on the wall after we leave.
-
Limewash outdoors
On exterior brick and stone, patios included, limewash is guaranteed for one year, and the Change-of-Heart Guarantee does not apply: most of it pressure-washes off porous masonry, but full removal cannot be promised.
The terms, in plain words
It runs for five years from the day we finish, on every surface we finished, and it belongs to the person who hired us: when the home is sold, it does not pass to the new owner.
If something is not right, tell us: call, text, or email a photo, and we come back to see it. Where our workmanship is the cause, we make it right, matched to your wall from the colors we keep on file.
Why we can promise five years
We do everything to local codes and with long-term sense: a sound, prepared wall, every coat given time to cure, and a membrane in any shower that needs one. That is what lets us guarantee the work, and why we expect you never to need it.
Greg or Gabriel is on site for every job, and your wall is never a training ground. See what goes wrong with paint and plaster, and how we prevent it.
The Change-of-Heart Guarantee
If you try a mineral finish and dislike the result, we will level the wall and repaint it in any Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore color at no charge.
It applies to mineral wall finishes indoors for 30 days after completion. The original invoice stands, and like the workmanship guarantee, it belongs to the person who hired us.
Questions about our guarantee
Does the guarantee transfer if I sell my home?
No. The five-year workmanship guarantee and the Change-of-Heart Guarantee belong to the person who hired us, so they end when the home is sold.
Are microcement and tadelakt showers covered?
Yes, for five years, wherever our workmanship is the cause. We build every shower to local codes, with a membrane wherever there is no waterproofing beneath it or a known problem, which is what lets us guarantee it.
Does the guarantee cost extra?
No. It comes with every project, from a single feature wall to a whole home.
